Great On-The-Go Partner

Only installed this app yesterday (its release date), but my first impression is that its a terrific alternative to the full-blown (well-established) web-based version.

The app is free (oh so commendable!), but you do have to have a purchased UserID and accompanying password to access the superb content (the same UserID and password works for both the web-based version and the app). Your progress through the course remains in sync regardless of the platform you choose to use (app or web).

The developers have done a remarkable job of fitting the mammoth amount of course material into the app and have VERY effectively implemented it on the smaller iPhone display (compared to the web version via my Mac desktop computer; I have not tried this app on an iPad).

Apparently there are only a few features of the web version that they have not (yet) implemented in the app (e.g., select-and-click additions to MyVocab).

I think I still prefer the web version on my 24" Mac, but the app will be a terrific alternative for keeping up on the coursework when out and about (like on that plane to Italy!!).
