Rocket Languages. App Reviews

As much as I like Rocket Languages on the web, this app does not work. I reinstalled it several times and after entering my login info all I get is a spinning circle. The app never actually starts.

Right off, it wants me to sign in, but in no way allows me to register. There are zero navigation buttons that will take me off the sign-in page.

Waiting for new and promised improved app. Supposed to be released early April. Still waiting. Current app doesnt work, doesnt track your progress and is basically unusable. Not a good thing for a language course that you pay for. Please hurry up Rocket Language!

I paid $200 for two levels of Rocket Spanish after reading rave reviews on the internet. I have yet to try the laptop version but I hope it actually works. So far, I feel like I was taken for a fool and robbed! This app has multiple functions that do not work. Multiple buttons are broken; submitting quizzes and tests, plus tou cannot download any files despite there being a link to do so. So very frustrated. I should have went with another product. I suppose the positive reviews were people paid by the comonay or the company itself. Grrrrrr.....

The purpose of the app is nice, having a mobile way to study a new language, but the presentations dont have any sound. It kind of leaves the app useless, and yes I have checked my volume and things on my phone. App is nicely formatted though, and runs pretty smooth. They get a extra star for that.

The app before was great! Now when Im listening to the audio it pauses if the screen goes off. Thats very inconvenient. Please change back.

This app contains virtually everything you get from logging into the website, which is really nice and useful! However, if you are playing the audio portion and lock your phone or even try to run another app, it pauses. This is frustrating, obviously, because you cant listen to a whole audio unless you set your phone to not lock, and you cant multitask. This should be an easy tweak that needs to be done!

Overall good app that needs some tweaks. However, new version has dropped the ability to play the alphabet on the whole, and individual letters. Needs to be fixed.

I subscribed to Rocket Languages because of their mobile app and the fact that it was a on-time fee. But this app is just terrible. It doesnt track your progress and when you try to test what youve learned, the "tutor" audio doesnt play. Sadly, Ill have to find another program to try.

Everything works the same as on my PC. No audio problems or anything, perfect!

Fixed most of the problems, but the tutor audio in the testing area still does not work.

I really want to love this app, the approach the app takes to learning is one of the best Ive seen thus far. Using it, even in trial form, has sky-rocketed my level of confidence in speaking and understanding a foreign language. The 3 star rating is due to the difficulties using the record and playback functions in all areas of the app. If those kinks could be worked out I would purchase the full version and never look back. Until then Ill just have to stick to limited trial version and other apps.

Would love to try it but it kept telling me that i dont have an internet connection, even though my internet connection is working perfectly!!!! Didnt know that the problem is ...

Before you start, you need to type in your email with password. I did, but then says I need internet connection. Trust me, Im online. Bad glitch apparently.

They STILL havent fixed the "no internet connection" bug! This app fails to function at all. It truly deserves the one star Im giving it, but only because this ratings system prevents zero.

This app is so great!!! If you have a rocket languages account you now can access it were ever you have Internet. Its basically the computer account in an app. It tests your pronunciation, speaking knowledge and writing! I highly recommend this app!!

Great language app. Nice to be able to do the lessons without hauling a laptop around for my Rosetta Stone. Comparable to RS and very thorough.

the app would be great. Right now, the audio works half the time on the "hear it" and "write it" portions. This is a crucial part of the program. Too bad because I spent $80 on this program. I dont think its too much to expect that it work correctly. When they fix that bug, I will change my review.

I bought the highest level program with the Black Friday special. The desktop version is great, but the app is frustratingly glitchy. I cant learn anything if the sound doesnt work.

The course itself is awesome, but this clunky "app" seems like it was resurrected from an internet time capsule buried fifteen years ago. Very few features and doesnt seem to update with progress made on other devices. Love the course, but will only use this in a pinch.
